To All,

I would like to thank all players, coaches, and volunteers for another successful season. The challenging work and dedication from all of you is appreciated and is key to a successful season. It was a long one with few difficulties, but at least we made it through and everyone who participated ended up playing a full season of hockey uninterrupted. We hosted a very successful tournament and jamboree with the help of many volunteers.

We are actively seeking a U7 Co-Ordinator for next seasons; nominations can happen at this meeting so if you are interested, please let us know when we call for nominations.

We will be hosting our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday May 2nd, 2023, 7:00pm at the Edgar Leclair Community Centre. Parents, coaches, and volunteers please plan to attend.

We will also be handing out our annual awards at the AGM. The following have been nominated:

RBMHA is now taking nominations for two awards. “Coach of the Year” and the annual “Bobby Fleming Memorial Volunteer of the Year”.

Coach of The Year
The recipient of this award guides their athletes to success in sport and in life by instilling in them the values of honesty, integrity, a positive attitude, competitiveness, and a love of sport. This coach leads by example and consistently demonstrates a dedication to lifelong learning and continuous improvement. The recipient of this award will be a Head or Assistant Coach.

Bobby Fleming Memorial Volunteer of the Year
The recipient of this award is a volunteer within our organization who has went above and beyond the call of duty to help make the hockey experience a positive on for all involved. This person has helped to make our season a success. The recipient of this award can be an Assistant Coach, Trainer, Manager, On Ice Helper, Board Member, or Student Volunteer.

Please include a subject line “Coach of the Year” or “Volunteer of the Year” and a brief description on why this person is deserving of the award.

The cutoff date for submitting will be March 10th, 2023.
